As we welcome September 2026, there’s a familiar sense of excitement and fresh beginnings throughout Bellingham and Whatcom County. Back-to-school season is here, families are settling into new routines, fall activities are getting underway, and our community is preparing for another beautiful Pacific Northwest autumn.
I’m Keith Browne II, and I’m proud to lead our State Farm agency here in Bellingham. This time of year is a great reminder of how quickly life moves and how important it is to make sure the people and things we care about are protected. Whether you have a new driver heading to school, a college student moving into an apartment, a growing family, or simply want to review your current insurance coverage, my team and I are here to help.
Back-to-school season has always been meaningful to me. Growing up as an athlete at Kent-Meridian High School and later competing in Division 1 Basketball at Eastern Washington University taught me the importance of preparation, teamwork, perseverance, and accountability. Those lessons continue to shape how I approach both business and life today.
In 2026, I’m also excited to continue giving back as a Jr. Varsity Basketball Coach at Squalicum High School. Working with student-athletes gives me the opportunity to help young people develop confidence, discipline, and teamwork—skills that can make a difference both on and off the court.
At our agency, we believe insurance is about more than policies. It’s about helping people prepare for the unexpected and being there when they need us. From auto and homeowners insurance to renters, life insurance, and personal liability coverage, our goal is to understand what matters most to you and help you build protection around it.
With a background in lending, finance, and insurance, I understand that financial security looks different for every household. That’s why I believe in taking the time to answer questions, explain your options, and build relationships based on integrity, compassion, and genuine care.
As students head back to class and families settle into their fall routines, September is a great opportunity to review what has changed in your life and make sure your insurance still fits your needs.
Thank you for allowing our team to be part of your journey. From my family and our State Farm team to yours, we wish all of our Bellingham and Whatcom County students, teachers, coaches, school staff, and families a safe and successful school year!
